Verse:001
Dr. Mohsin : All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord [] of the 'Âlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists).
Pickthal : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds,
Yusuf Ali : Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds


Verse:002
Dr. Mohsin : The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Pickthal : The Beneficent, the Merciful.
Yusuf Ali : Most Gracious, Most Merciful


Verse:003
Dr. Mohsin : The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
Pickthal : Owner of the Day of Judgment,
Yusuf Ali : Master of the, Day of Judgment.


Verse:004
Dr. Mohsin : You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).
Pickthal : Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help.
Yusuf Ali : Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.


Verse:005
Dr. Mohsin : Guide us to the Straight Way.
Pickthal : Show us the straight path,
Yusuf Ali : Show us the straight way.


Verse:006
Dr. Mohsin : The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace,
Pickthal : The path of those whom Thou hast favoured.
Yusuf Ali : The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace,


Verse:007
Dr. Mohsin : not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians).
Pickthal : Not (the path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray.
Yusuf Ali : Those whose (portion) is not wrath and who go not astray.

Al-Quran: O ye who believe! let not some men among you laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): nor let some women laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (Indeed) doing wrong*
